Andrea Kraus is a Principal Product Manager in Pacific Gas and Electric’s (PG&E) Microgrid Strategy Implementation group and a Deputy Director of the Temporary Generation Branch within PG&E’s Emergency Operations Center. In these roles, Andrea works cross-functionally on the development and use of temporary microgrids and other backup power solutions to support customers during Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) events.

Prior to her time at PG&E, Andrea worked on rural off-grid electrification as a Peace Corps volunteer in Panama, and obtained a dual MBA/MS with a focus on climate adaptation and sustainable energy systems from the University of Michigan.
