Doug Jones is vice president of Engineering for the SCADA and Analytical Services (SAS) Business Unit. SAS offers engineering to analyze, protect, secure and monitor power systems from 480 V to more than 500 kV. If an electrical power system needs to be modeled, analyzed, calculated, programmed, configured, protected, monitored or studied, we can do it. SAS practices in four main disciplines: SCADA, protection, transmission planning and infrastructure design studies. Doug spent six years designing and commissioning substations for Electrical Systems Consultants before joining System Protection Services in 2005. POWER acquired System Protection Services in 2007. Doug is a member of IEEE and a professional engineer in several states. Doug received a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Colorado State University.
