Jon Moretta is the Executive Vice President and Industrial Market Leader at Parsons. Jon has over 35 years of experience in the energy industry, including both gas and electric utilities. His experience spans operations, engineering, procurement, and construction, as well as technology development and commercialization. Jon holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan. He has received 8 patents and published numerous papers throughout his career. In his current role, Jon is responsible for all work with Parsons’ Industrial clients, including the implementation of Parsons’ Critical Infrastructure Protection solutions, which address both physical resiliency and cybersecurity. Parsons’ Grid ArmorTM solution was developed to help electric utility operators better monitor and maintain their transmission and distribution systems to prevent failures that can result in adverse events such as wildfires.
